Suction catheter with vacuum level control is used in anesthesiology for sanation of the upper respiratory tract, including through the endotracheal and tracheotomy tube.

  • Suction catheter with vacuum level control is made of transparent thermoplastic implantable non-toxic polyvinyl chloride.
  • The thermoplastic material softens due to the temperature of the surrounding tissues.
  • It has an open atraumatic end and no more than two side holes.
  • Minimal risk of the catheter lumen obstruction by aspirates due to two auxiliary side holes.
  • Vacuum control connector (Vacon or Kapkon type) for manual vacuum control fits any vacuum aspirator.
  • Adjustable aspiration pressure (for Vacon type).
  • Non-twistable thermolabile material, resistant to kinks.
  • Specially treated surface reduces the need for the use of lubricants.
  • Transparent material allows to control aspiration.
  • Smooth surface ensures easy insertion.
